The place we call home - Tech City
We’ve been in the area for the last few years, but our little patch of East-Central London has come of age. The nicknames Tech City and Silicon Roundabout have officially stuck. The local Tech Hub organisation who help boost tech startups and entrepreneurs, have just relaunched their new business site london.techhub.com focusing on bringing the businesses in Old Street/Tech City to life. Tech hub is based at the nearby Campus London, the hugely successful collaborative startup space run by our client, Google.
Tech Hub have also created a nice new guide to living and working in Old Street – useful indeed! Check out the Tech Hub’s snazzy new dot London domain in action at the community site: techhub.london. If you are part of the Forever Beta community this site is pretty useful with tips of great places to eat, drink, shop and check out.
Just to add into the mix, we’d recommend these haunts of ours…
Best market – Whitecross Street Market
Best place to see street-art – Blackall Street
Best al fresco coffee – Black Box Old St
Best place to soak up the sun – Hoxton Square
Best hotel bar – Hoxton Hotel
Best male grooming – Murdock London
(we’ve got a lot of beards at Forever Beta)
Of course, you can always swing by Forever Beta towers for creativity and a cuppa. We’re at Leonard Circus — at the junction of Paul and Leonard Street.
Wish you were here x
